Catherine 'Kate' Provan Menzies was born and was baptised on 17 Dec 1847 at Chatham, Kent, England.[1][2] She was the daughter of James Menzies and Jane Unknown.
Catherine 'Kate' Provan Menzies married Andrew Guy Charles Thompson on 15 Apr 1882 at Manchester, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. They had two children Cyril and Beryl.[5]
