- B. M. Meredith, a well known citizen of the county died Saturday night at his home in the Oakland vicinity. He was 69 years of age, and leaves several children all of whom are grown. He was the brother of J. D. and Ed Meredith, of this city and the son of the Hon. William Meredith, who years ago represented this county in the legislature for several terms. He also leaves a daughter in Oklahoma. The funeral services were conducted this afternoon at two o'clock from the residence and the burial was at Fairview Church near Grider School house.
