Death at Lyons
Lyons - March 3 - Mrs. Josephine Mirick Jameson, aged 71 years, the last of the six children of Colonel Ira Mirick, died yesterday afternoon at her home on Phelps street. Mrs. Jameson was the widow of Hugh Jameson, whose death occurred in 1890. She is survived by three of her six children, two of whom, Mary and Josephine Jameson live in Lyons, and the son John at Washington, D. C. where he is employed in the government printing office. Mrs. Jameson's father was one of the early settlers of Lyons and the family has been one of the most prominent here during the eighty-five years since he became a citizen.
