Biography

Emma was born in Pennsylvania on 10 June 1850. She was the daughter of James Merrill and Nancy Waldron. According to her death certificate, she lived her whole life in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.[1]

She married Vincent Verga.[1]

Emma Jane Verga died at her home in Muncy on 24 December 1943, age 93 years, 6 months, and 14 days. Her death was attributed to chronic nephritis combined with senility, but without senile dementia. [1] She was buried in Muncy Cemetery in Muncy.[1][2]
