Biography
Johann Ludwig Georg Mietzschke was born at Arnstadt on 8 August 1716 as son of wigmaker Johann Gottfried Mietzschke and his wife Johanna Sophia nee Stiede, and baptized in Arnstadt on 10 August. On 11 September 1749, he took the citizen oath of Arnstadt. On 1 November 1757, he married Anna Christiana Thimme, also of Arnstadt. He died on 26 September 1774 at half past nine in the evening and was buried in Arnstadt on 28 September.[1]
