Lauritz (Mikkelsen) Larsen was born in Denmark
Lauritz blev født 1844 i Astrup. Han var søn af husmand Mikkel Lauritzen Bak og Johanne Jensdatter. Han døde 1918 i Logan.
Lauritz emigrerede til USA i 1879.
After arriving in USA Lauritz changed his last name from Mikkelsen to Larsen.
