The late Mrs. Ronald Munro, whose death occurred last week at her home in Church St., was born at Tenterfield 77 years ago, and came to Glen Innes as a young woman.
After her marriage to the late Mr. Wm. Webber, who predeceased her by about 30 years, she took up residence at "Mount View," Linwood, where she lived until a few years ago, when on her marriage to Mr. Ronald Munro she made her home in Church St.
During her long residence in this district the deceased lady was widely known for her kind-heartedness and ready assistance to those experiencing misfortune. There was never an appeal made to her in vain, and those who have benefited by her kindness are legion. Her home was always known for its large-hearted hospitality, which was the natural expression of one who was ever considerate of the welfare and happiness of others.
During the many years she lived at "Mt. View," the late Mrs. Munro was a great worker for the Linwood Church of England, her devotion to her church finding practical expression in the many services she render ed. In the days of the Great War the deceased lady was an ardent worker for the Red Cross and other organisations established to aid Australia's soldiers and the Allied cause.

H. Johnston (Toowoomba) ; and four sons— Messrs. William (Red Range), Jack (Glen Innes), Fred and Albert Webber (Linwood). One son, Ernest, is deceased.
Tribute was paid by the large at tendance at the funeral and the many beautiful wreaths.
