Obituary for Ellen Eliza Miller King Jeffersonian 1-25-1940 Mrs. Ellen King, 82, Former Byesville Resident Is Dead Byesville, O., Jan. 25 - Mrs. Ellen King, 82, widow of Harrison King, passed away Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock, at the home of Mrs. Rachel Groyen, 523 Grant Avenue, Cambridge, following an illness of complications due to advanced age. Mrs. King had made her home with her son Chase King, in Byesville, since the death of her husband many years ago, but the past 20 months had been residing at the Groyen home. Surviving are the following children; Mrs. Minnie Murphy and John King, Cambridge; George and Thomas King, Buffalo; Jacob King, Indianna; Earl King, Peter King and Chase King and Mrs. John Syme, of Byesville; one brother, George Miller, near Summerfield. The body was brought to the Herlan Funeral Home and will be taken to the home of her son, Earl King, 214 North Sixth Street, Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the King residence on Saturday afternoon at 1 O;clock with Rev. F. B. Gilhousen, pastor of the Trinity Methodist Church, in charge. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery
