William (34) married Helen Gordon (34) (born on February 7, 1706 in Birkenburn; daughter of William Gordon and Jean Duff) on September 4, 1740 in Keith. Their son was John Milne (1741–1809).

William died on September 15, 1766 in Inverkeithny, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, aged about 60.^[1]
