Biography

Orville Eugene Minkler was born in Erie County, Ohio, in 1848. He was the son of Orange Minkler and Elizabeth Ann (Hill) Minkler. He and his family moved to Iowa in 1856, settling in Kossuth County. He married Ida Alice May Field on May 9, 1877. ^[1] They had three daughters and a son. ^{[2] [3]}

He passed away in 1902 of cancer of the stomach. ^[4]
