Biography
Samuel Mohney Dies.
Samuel Mohney, aged 80, died Saturday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Smiley, Front St., Verona. A resident of Verona for the last 40 years, he is survived by two sons John Irvin and C, L. Moloney of the Northside; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Yeaney of Eastend and Mrs. James Smiley of Verona. He was a member of Grace Reformed church and Charles R. Bright post 360. G. A. R. of Verona, having served three years and three months in the Civil war.[1]

COURSIN L. MOHNEY, who represents the tenth ward of Allegheny city, Pa., in the common council, is a native of Clarion county. Pa., where he was born in 1860, his parents being Samuel and Elizabeth Mohney.
