Johnson Inez

Johnson, 86, of Kenefick, died Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Heritage Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dayton. She was born December 15, 1920 in Harlingen to her late Parents: Ben Moncus and Helen Lowrey Moncus. After spending her teenage years in the Harlingen area she moved to Houston and then lived in the Kenefick area for the last 33 years. She attended the Church Of Christ in Dayton, previously attended the Church of Christ in Tarkington Prairie and enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and cooking. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Greenville Cemetery in Kenefick with Mr. Roddy Covington officiating. She is survived by: Daughter: Joyce Kingcaid and her husband Melvin of Seabrook; Sons: Donald Johnson of Kenefick and Richard Johnson and his wife Debra of Cleveland; 13 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; 18 Great-Great-Grandchildren and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by: Parents: Ben Moncus and Helen Lowrey Moncus; Son: Jerry Johnson and Daughter: Helen Fingleman. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Greenville Cemetery in Kenefick.
