Gib Montgomery is a part of US Black heritage.

Gib Montgomery, son of Si Montgomery and Emma Freeman, was born about 1907. In the 1910 census he is age 3, in the 1920 census he is age 11, listed as G.B. (probably a mis-hearing of Gib).

He appears to have been married several times:

1. In 1928, he married Marie White. The record states that this is his first marriage.^[1]
2. In 1930, he married Caroline Gray.^[2] They were divorced in 1940.^[3]
3. He married Fannie McKenny in 1941.^[4]
