Canada Conada Montgomery was born on January 19, 1830, in Howard, Missouri, his father, John Montgomery and his mother, Eleanor Moore. He married Eleanor Jane (Blakely in 1850 in Linn, Oregon. He died of Myocarditis on January 4, 1921, in Union Gap, Washington and was buried in Brownsville Pioneer Cemetery, Brownsville, Linn County, Oregon.
