Elizabeth was born January 1, 1756 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Montgomery and Hannah Patterson.

On May 13, 1794 she married William Bailey in Guilford County, North Carolina. ^[1]

She passed away sometime after May 13, 1794 which is the date she married William Bailey.
