Mary (Monypenny) Barham was born in Tonbridge, Kent, England.
Mary Catherine Monypenny was born on 3 December 1829 in Hadlow, Tonbridge, Kent, England, United Kingdom, daughter of James Isaac Monypenny (1799–1881) and Mary Blackwell Monypenny (1804–1880).[1] She was baptized on 8 January 1830 in Hadlow.
Mary married Walter Barham (born about 1845 in Lenham, Kent).[2]
In 1841, Mary (11) was living in Kent with her siblings, James (10), Mary (32), Margaret (9), Adelaide (7), James (5), Phillip (3), and Charlotte (2); and Elizabeth Moneypenny (30). [3]
In 1851, Mary (21) was living in Kent with her husband, Walter Warren (17); her siblings, James (52), Mary B (43), James R B (15), Charlotte (12), Henriette S (9), Emma S (6), and Mary L G (2); and Philipe H Monypeny (13), Lucy C Smith (25), Ellen Grant (40), Elizabeth Dodd (20), and Fanny May (19). In 1861, Mary (31) was living in Kent with her siblings, James Isaac (62), Mary B (53), Adelaide E (27), James R B (25), Mary E Stone (30), and Mary Roser (27); and Silvestra R G Monypenny (62), Selina Duly (19), and Alfred E Jeffery (15). [5]
