Biography

Edward was baptised at Walton on 9th. Nov 1634. He was the eldest son of John Moore the regicide, and his wife Mary Rigby. ^[1]

Edward Moore was the author of the Moore Rental ^[1]

1649 Appointed by Cromwell as Capt. of Foot ^[1]

He m1). pre 1657 Dorothy Fenwick (d. 1673) daughter of William Fenwick of Meldon, Northumberland

m2). Mary Bloodworth daughter of Sir Thomas Bloodworth, Lord Mayor of London as his 2nd wife. ^[2]

1675 Created a Baronet ^[2]

1678 died and buried at St. Nicholas, Liverpool ^[1]
