Thomas Moran was born on 7 September 1909 in Chicopee, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States, son of Dennis Eugene Moran (1882– ) and Anna Unknown (~1887– ).^[1]

Thomas married Julia Agnes Nolan (born on 24 September 1903; daughter of John M Nolan and Julia A (Shea) Nolan).

In 1930, Thomas (20) was in the household of Dennis Moran. ^[2]

In 1940, Thomas (30) was living in Chicopee City, Hampden, Massachusetts. ^[3]

Thomas passed away on 22 July 1971 in Holyoke, Hampden County, Massachusetts, aged 61.^{[4] [5]} He was buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chicopee, Massachusetts.

CHICOPEE - Thomas J. Moran, 61, of 77 Claire St., died yesterday after being stricken at work.
An electrical technician at Rucki's Inc., of Holyoke, he was the brother of Eugene Moran of Dalton, manager of the Western District of the Division of Fish and Game, state Department of Natural Resources.
A native of Chicopee, Mr. Moran was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's Church.
Besides his brother, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Julia A. Moran, a daughter, Mrs. John Hurst of Wethersfield, Conn.; two other brothers, John F. and William, both of Chicopee, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Denis of Springfield.
The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Tylunus Funeral Home in Chicopee with a Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Chicopee Falls at 10. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
