Biography

Jacob was born about 1773. He passed away 07 Oct 1854.^[1]

He was married to Margaret Hartman and had 12 children. Sarah, Hannah, John, Phillipina, Isaac, Eliza, Margaret, Catherine, Abbalona, David, Mary Ann, and Mary Polly^[2]

In Sep of 1850 he (70) resided in Greenwood, Perry County, Pennsylvania with his wife Margaret (68) and daughter Hannah (40) in the home on his son Isaac (35) and his wife Lydia (25). Also in the home were Isaac's children Mary A (12), John (8), Angeline (6), Mary (5), Lydia (4), Sarah (3), and Jacob (9 months). Also listed in the house is a Sarah Troutman (14).^[3]

Buried at St. Matthew Cemetery, Millerstown, Perry County, Pennsylvania^[4]

Death Registration shows his father listed as Jacob Morets, wife is Margaret Morets, children John, Isaac, David, Sarah, Rebecca, Mary, Phebe, Eliza, Abby, Catharine, Anna, and Hannah. It also shows he was born 1773 and died 07 Oct 1854 of congestive fever. He died is Greenwood township Pennsylvania and was buried in Liverpool township, Pennsylvania.^[5]
