The first Mercy of these parents was born about 1703 and died in 1704. Their second Mercy was born a decade later, and became spouse of Benjamin Merrick. This Mercy should not be confused with Mercy (merrick) Hayward, born about 1703, a Mayflower descendant, nor the Mercy Morgan born 1751, another Mayflower descendant.
