Biography

Thomas Charles Morgan born 1783 in Charlotte Street, Bloomsbury, son of John Morgan of Charlotte Street, Bloomsbury, London.

Thomas married 1st to Miss Hammond, daughter of William Hammond of Queen Square, Bloomsbury. She died in childbirth in 1809 or 1810, survived by her daughter.

Thomas was physician to John Hamilton, 1st Marquess of Abercorn.

Thomas was knighted in 1811 in Ireland.

Thomas married 2nd in Jan 1812 to Sydney Owenson. They lived in Barons Court, the Abercorn seat, before eventually moving to No. 35 Kildare Street, Dublin. in 1837 moved to William Street, Lowndes Square, London.

Thomas Morgan died at William Street, Lowndes Square, London, on 28 August 1843.
