Charles was born in 1932.[1] He was the son of Virgil Morgan and Bertha Abbott. He passed away in 2006.[2][3]
Charles was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.[4]
MORGAN, CHARLES M. 73, of Okolona, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Norton Hospital.
He was a native of Somerset, KY, and a retired employee of General Electric Appliance Park and Railroad Yard. He was a member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge for 50 years, IUE local 761 and Farmdale Baptist Church. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 15 years.
He was an avid gardener, a jack of all trades, and he was a wonderful Dad and a Papaw to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Lynn Morgan; three sisters; and two brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, the former Willadean Groves; three daughters and their husbands, Sharon Morgan and Fred Potter, Rebecca and Jim Hack, and Tamara and Rick Estes; sister, Virgie Morgan; and three grandchildren, Sara and Madeline Hack and Garrett Estes.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday.
