Irving Morley Jr., 87, of Somerset, passed away on April 7, 2016 at Saint Annes Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of the late Viola M. (Gaborian) Morley. Irving was born in Fall River the son of the late Irving Morley Sr. and Alice (Park) Oliveira. He was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1946. Mr. Morley then served his country during WWII and the Korean War, with the United States Marine Corp. Irving worked at Lincoln Press as a foreman for over twenty years, retiring in 1994. He attended Hillside Bible Baptist Church in Dighton. Mr. Morley was a member of the American Legion Post #303 in Swansea and the LCPL John J. Van Gyzen Marine Corp League Detachment in Somerset. He also was an antique car enthusiast who loved spending time with his dog Levi. Survivors are his children: Kimberly Ann Soares, Cheryl Ann Lebeau, Harold, Michael and Chris Morley; many grand and great grandchildren; two sisters: Constance Kiley and Alice Reca; along with many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Cynthia Morley and James Morley and brother of the late Louse Cabral. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 10am in Oak Grove Cemetery, relatives and friends are invited.
