Biography

Susanna was a Friend (Quaker)

Susanna Morris was a Quaker. In 1753 she married Joseph Hanks another Quaker and a tanner in Birr, King's county. They had a family. He died in 1759, and after his death she re-married to William Walters. She was disowned by the Quaker Mountmellick meeting in 1762 for marrying a man of a different religious profession after the death of her husband.
