Frederick Morris[1] was born about 1808 to John Morris and Frances Duffield. He married Julia Stafford, and after her death, he married Cecelia Byron Harper. His occupation was that of an upholsterer and auctioneer in Bath. He died 12 Mar 1875 and is buried in the beautiful Bath Abbey Cemetery.
Diocese of Bath and Wells On the 10th Day of Dec 1831 Appeared personally Frederick Morris Upholsterer of the Parish of St. Peter of St. Paul Bath in the County of Somerset Bachelor of the age of twenty one years and prayed a Licence for the Solemnization of Matrimony, in the Parish Church of St. Michael's Bath in the County aforesaid and Diocese of Bath and Wells, between him and Julia Stafford of the aforesaid Parish of St. Michael's spinster of age of twenty one years - and made Oath that he believeth that there is no Impediment of Kindred or Alliance, or of any other lawful Cause, nor any suit commenced in any Ecclesiastical Court, to bar or hinder the Proceeding of the said Matrimony, according to the Tenor of such Licence. And he further made Oath, that she hath had her usual Place of Abode within the Parish of St. Michael's aforesaid, for the Space of Fifteen Days last past. Frederick Morris

On the seventh Day of February 1856 Appeared personally Frederick Morris of the Parish of Lyncombe & Widcombe, Bath, Somerset, Upholsterer, & a widower of the age of forty seven years and prayed a Licence for the Solemnization of Matrimony , in the Ole Parish church of Lyncombe & Widcombe, Bath in the County of Somerset and Diocese of Bath and Wells, between him and Cecilia Byron Harper of the Parish of St. Michael, Bath, Somerset, spinster, of the age of twenty nine years and made Oath that he believeth that there is no Impediment of Kindred or Alliance, or of any other lawful Cause, nor any suit commenced in any Ecclesiastical Court, to bar or hinder the Proceeding of the said Matrimony, according to the Tenor of such Licence.
