Sometime before 1872 he was married to Mary E (surname unknown). Sadly, Mary died on 14 July 1893.
In 1900, William was a widower. He was working as farm labor and lived with his nephew, Alonzo Morris.[4]
On 23 March 1902 he married Isabell Mary Vought Doane, a widow.[5]
In 1910, William and his second wife are living in Rome, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA, and her youngest son is living with them. [6]
In 1920 he and his wife are living in Windham, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA.[7]
In 1930, William was 90 years of age and was living with his wife in the home of his step-son.[8]
He passed away in 1934 at his home in Windham Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA. Funeral services were held from Sutfin Funeral Home in Nichols, New York by Rev. Ernest Colwell of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He is buried in North Orwell Cemetery in North Orwell, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA.[9][10][11]
