Biography

Thomas was born in 1777 to Quinn Morton (1749-1805) and Mary (Anderson) Morton (1757-1818). Morton Bible, pg 92[1]

He married Martha in 1803, the year before his younger brother Charles would wed his wife's sister Mary.Morton Bible pp 93-94[1]

The 1810 U.S. Census finds Thomas and Martha in Prince William County, Virginia with 13 enslaved people.
