Helen E. Miller, 92, of Springfield died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at Oak Terrace Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 30, 1910, near Chandlerville, the daughter of Ralph and Nelia E. Wright Moss. She married John C. Miller in 1930; he died in 1975.
Mrs. Miller, a homemaker, was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Victory Club.
Survivors: three daughters, Joella (husband, Gary) Kerber of Atlanta, Ga., and Phyllis (husband, Delbert) Vincent and Joyce (husband, Jerry) Marion, both of Springfield; a son, William (wife, Mary) Miller of Springfield; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Freda Mallicoat of Glendale, Ariz., and Mildred Clemons of Pleasant Plains; three brothers, Ralph "Jiggs", George (wife, June) and Jack Moss, all of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Bill Burton officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
