Biography

Birth and Parents: Glenna Beatrice Mudge was born on 11 August 1908 in Mississippi, United States.^[1] Her parents were William Frank Mudge (1874-1950) and Dixie Bell Lang (1887 - 1981).

Glenna was about a year old when the 1910 United States Census was taken. She was recorded in the household of her parents. They were living in Forrest County, Mississippi.^[2]

When Glenna was 11 years old, she was recorded in the household of her parents on the 1920 United States Census. They were living in Washington, Greene County, Mississippi.^[3]

A 1930 United States Census record for Glenna Mudge has not yet been located. She was not enumerated in the household of her father.

Glenna Beatrice Mudge and Harold Francis Lain White were married on 09 September 1937 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana.^[4]

Glenna and Harold White were enumerated in the same household on the 1940 United States Census. They were living in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.^[5]

When the 1950 United States Census was taken, Glenna and Harold were living in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. Glenna was doing secretarial work for a cotton firm. It was noted on the census that she had no children.^[6]

Death: Glenna Beatrice (Mudge) White passed away on 12 January 1996. She was 87 years old.^[1]
