Birth

Cornelis was born in Zaandam, Holland on September 4, 1780.^[1] He was the son of Cornelis Muijs and Maartje Bontekoe.^[2]

Marriage

Cornelis was married to Immetje Reus, born in 1783 in Koog aan de Zaan.^[1] They had (at least) 8 children:

• Maartje Muijs, born on October 16, 1806 in Koog
• Aafje Muijs, born on September 6, 1811 in Zaandijk
• Cornelis Muijs, born on January 12, 1814 in Zaandijk
• Trijntje Muijs, born on March 20, 1815 in Zaandijk, d.1815
• Willem Muijs, born on April 3, 1817 in Zaandijk
• Klaas Muijs, born on April 25, 1818 in Zaandijk
• Treijntje Muijs, born on May 26, 1821 in Amersfoort, d.1821
• Klaas Cornelis Muijs, born on February 25, 1825 in Amersfoort

Death

He passed away on May 2, 1847 in Utrecht.^[2]
