John Mullins was born in Feb., 1849 in Ireland and died in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. He immigrated to New York in 1850 and was married to Sarah Lonergan circa 1870.[1]

The arrival date of his ship, the Satellete, from Dublin, Ireland to New York is recorded as July 5, 1849.[2]

John J Mullins Sr. founded the South Side Bottling Works mineral spring and distilled water distributing company circa 1890 at 523 South Park Avenue, Buffalo, Erie County, New York.[3]

John Mullins died before 1937 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York.[3]

Children

From Census data and obituaries, John Mullins appears to have had the following children:
  1. James Mullins b. c. 1871 d. before 1936[4][5]
  2. John Mullins b. c. 1873[4][5][6]
  3. Sarah/Sadie Mullins b. August 17, 1874 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York[7]
b. c. 1874-1892 according to census data d. before 1936[4][5][6][8][9][10]
There was either more than one Sarah or they consistently misreported her age. It's unlikely she was 28 with a 70-year-old father and 68-year-old mother in 1920
  1. Charles Mullins b. c. 1876-1878[5][6]
  2. May/Mae/Mary Mullins b. c. 1879-1887[5][6][8][9][11]
  3. Ellen Mullins b. October 16, 1883 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York[12]
b. c. 1884 according to census data d. before 1936[6]
