Caleb Munson, son of Samuel, was born 19 Nov 1682, in New Haven, Connecticut[1][2][3]
Caleb married (1) 26 Mar 1706 in Wallingford, Connecticut, Elizabeth Harmon.[3][2]
He married (2)10 Jan 1740/1 in Wallingford, Hannah Porter.[3][2]
Caleb died 23 Aug 1765.[3] and was buried 24 Aug 1765.[2]
Caleb was a weaver and resided in Wallingford.[2] He lived to the southeast of the village of Wallingford near Muddy River. His dwelling was near "Cooks Rock"[2]
Land
Over the years, Caleb purchased and sold land. He and his brothers sometimes traded land. Eventually, he gave some of this land to his children. Especially in 1752 and 1756, he made sales and gifts to his still living children and to his grandchildren. He also dealt in buying and selling horses.
Civic Duties
Caleb signed the "Articles of Agreement Maid & Concluded Bettwen the several propriters of Lands in Walling ford," with 107 others 20 Feb 1712. 1720 served on the grand Jury. 1725 chosen Tithing man. 1 Jan 1743. Caleb served on the School Committee. and in December he was elected selectman.
Will
The Will of Caleb Munson, dated 2 June 1761, was presented in court 30 Oct 1765. His inventory after debts was L288.11.11
