Biography
Thomas M. Murphree was born about 1842-1844 in Blount County, Alabama, United States, son of Marvel Murphree (~1805–1864) and Edith Francis Easley (1811–1881).[1][2]
He married Sarah Elizabeth Stafford on 23 January 1868 in Independence County, Arkansas.[3][4] They had two children, William Thomas Murphree (abt.1868-1951) and Emily.[5][6]
He most likely died 1872-1877 in Stone County, Arkansas. His youngest child was born about 1872 and his wife remarried in 1878.
