Biography

Georgina Murray was the daughter of Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 6th Bt. and Lady Mary Anne Hope. [1][2]

She married Anthony Murray of Dollerie, son of Anthony Murray and Helen Bower, on 19 October 1829 at Madderty, Perthshire, Scotland.[3][1][4][5]

They had several children:

  1. Anthony George Murray, 11th of Dollerie, b 29 Sep 1830[6]
  2. Mary Ann Murray, bap at Madderty 19 Dec 1831[7]
  3. Georgina Helen Murray, bap at Madderty 15 Dec 1832[8]
  4. Patrick Murray, b 11 Aug 1834[9]
  5. Augusta Campbell Murray, b on 25 May 1836[10]
  6. Charlotte Joanna Murray, bap at Madderty 16 Feb 1838[11]
  7. William Keith Murray, b 9 Feb 1839,[12] died young
  8. Isabella Louisa Murray, b 29 Apr 1841[13]
  9. Frances Amelia Jemina Murray, bap 5 Sep 1843[14]
  10. Williamina, bap 15 Mar 1845[15]

In 1841 Georgina, age 35, was in No 16 Rutland Square, Edinburgh St Cuthberts, Midlothian.[16]

In 1851 Georginna, age 46, was the wife of Anthony Murray at 8 Rutland Square, Edinburgh St Cuthberts, Midlothian.[17]

In 1861 Georgina, age 54, was a wife at 15 Ainslie Road, Edinburgh St Cuthberts, Midlothian. She was a Write To The Siginste Wife.[18]

In 1871 Georgina, age 65, was recorded as married in Madderty, Perthshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.[19]

She died on 18 April 1877.[4]
