Biography

Anna was born in 1721[1]. In 1742, she married Jacob Mattsson Rakennus[2] and moved to his family farm[3]. She lived at Rakennus farm the rest of her life, passing away in 1781 at age 60[4].

Research Notes

  • Her association to Katko farm (and father Mårten Jöransson) comes from her marriage record.
  • It is probable, based on a secondary source[5] (sources not provided) and her birth year, that her mother was Margareta Marcusdotter Katko, who married Mårten Jöransson in 1711. She was the daughter of the previous farm owner, Marcus Escilsson.
