Biography
Ida's Baptism Record
Her Marriage record lists her place of birth as Altona, New York. [1] The family during this time period is believed to be living in Lyon Mountain, New York but it is not known when they actually moved. What is certain is that Ida was baptized on March 10, 1881 at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, New York. Her godparents were Theodore Pratt and Melia Pratt. [2]
The family was in Lyon Mountain when her mother died in 1888. [3] We will find their family in Barre, Vermont by 1892. [4]
