Biography
Arthur was born in 1926. He is the son of Edward Cecil Nankivell and May Beatrice Limb [1].
Sapper Arthur Hugh Nankivell was awarded the military medal[2]. He served in the 14th Field Company, Australian Engineers[3].
In 1951, he married Margaret Phyllis Ridge.
- DOUBLE WEDDING
- RIDGE—NANKIVELL. — The marriage of Margaret Phyllis, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. N. Ridge, to Arthur Hugh, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Nankivell, both of Mundalla, will be solemnised at Bordertown Methodist Church, on July 7, at 5.30 p.m.
- STAUDE—NANKIVELL.— The marriage of Lalah Gilberta, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Staude, to Gilbert Brian, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Nankivell, both of Mundalla, will be solemnised at the Bordertown Methodist Church, on Saturday, July 7, at 5.30 p.m.[4].
Arthur passed away in the Kingston Soldiers' Memorial Hospital after many months of illness. He was 93 years and the loved husband of Margaret and father of Heather, Glenys, Roger and Debra[5]. [6].
