Anna Sarah Narup was born on March 12, 1879 in Brussels, Calhoun, Illinois, United States, daughter of George Henry Narup (1853–1914) and Sarah J Clark (1858–1934).

In 1880, Anna (1) was living in household of Henry Narup (25) in Point Precinct, Calhoun with her parents, Henry (25) and Salle (21); her siblings, John (5), and Carline (3); and Frank Kappel (20). ^[1]

In 1910, Anna (31) was living in Hardin, Calhoun with her children, Robert E (6), William C (4), Leola (3), and Aloys H (10 months). ^[2]

Anna registered for the draft for World War I. ^[3]
