Hannah Nash is a part of US Black heritage.

Hannah was born into slavery, possibly around 1781. She was enslaved by John Nash in Abbeville South Carolina.

Slave Owner

On July (day blurred)th day, 1795, Hannah was listed as a 14-year-old "Negroe" girl in the will of John Nash (May 16, 1747 – October 24, 1794). She was valued at $50[1]

She is listed with three other enslaved people, Edmond (age 30), Pallip (age 20), and Carroline (age 21), but her relationship to them is not made clear in the probate document.
