Francoise (or Frances) was one of a set of twins, the first children born to Paul Navarre (1798-1857) and Teresa (Beaubien) Navarre (1791-aft.1860). Her twin sister, Lucy, lived only 4-5 months. But Francoise lived to adulthood, and married Hilary Bourbonnay on July 22, 1839. Unfortunately, she died only 7 months later. She was buried in the cemetery of St Antoine Church in Frenchtown, Monroe County, Michigan.
