Biography

Alice was born in 1876, daughter of Rear Admiral Maurice Bolton and his wife, Emily Burrard.^[1] In 1901 she was living with her parents in Alverstoke.^[2] Her mother died in 1906 ^[3] and by 1911 Alice and her father had been joined by her now widowed sister, Emily. ^[4]
