Theodore Archie Nelson was born on 31 January 1902 in Springfield Township, Kalkaska, Michigan, United States to Francis Nelson and Carrie Lewis. [1]
In 1910, Theodore was living in Summit, Chehalis, Washington, United States with his parents and siblings. [2]
Theodore attended school through the 8th grade. [3]
Theodore's parents were divorced between 1910 - 1917. In 1920, Theodore was living in Grays Harbor, Washington, United States with his mother, Carrie (Lewis) Sallee, step-father, Earnest Sallee, and his siblings. Theodore was 18 and working as a laborer with a lumber company. [4]
On 6 April 1930, Theodore was living in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, United States. He was listed as single and living as a lodger. He worked as a laborer in the construction field. [5]
On 17 May 1930, Theodore married Coralie Allen, daughter of Ed Allen, in Grays Harbor, Washington, United States. They were married by the Justice of the Peace. He was 28, and she was 20. This was the second marriage for both of them, having both been divorced previously. They were both residents of Copalis Beach, Washington, United States. [6][7]
On 17 October 1936, Theodore married Elsie Irene Walhmark, daughter of John Walhmark and Elsie May Smith. They were married in Chehalis, Washington, United States by the Justice of the Peace. He was 34, and she was 19. This was Theodore's third marriage and Elsie's first marriage. [8][9][10]
In 1940, Theodore and (Elsie) Irene were living in Hoquiam, Grays Harbor, Washington, United States with daughter, Lorraine Nelson. Theodore worked as a core rustler in a plywood mill. [11]
On 15 February 1942, Theodore registered for the United States World War II draft. He was living with his wife, (Elsie) Irene, in Hoquiam, Grays Harbor, Washington where he worked for West Coast Plywood Company. Theodore was 5 feet to 5 feet and three-quarter inches tall and weighed about 130 pounds. He had blue eyes, black hair, and a light complexion. He had a scar in the middle of his forehead. [12]
Theodore passed away on 3 September 1961. He rests at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam, Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. [13]
