Biography
Samuel was born in 1732 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Joshua Newcomb and Eunice (Bullard) Newcomb.
He married Deborah Ridley on 12 Aug 1758.[1]
He died about 1806 in Massachusetts.

In valuation of 1770 he was put down 1 poll, 1 house 10s., 1 cow, 5 sheep, 1 swine. He removed to Portland, Cumberland, Me., 1776; was residing at Gorham, Cumberland, Me., 1798; d. ae. about 74; his widow d. ae. about 80.
