Edward Nwenham Hoare was born in 1802. He was the son of John Hoare and Rachel Newenham.
He was educated by Dr White and entered Trinity College Dublin on 1 November 1819, aged 18. B.A. 1824, M.A. 1839. [1]
Ordained by Bishop Byder of Lichfield as Curate of Parwich.
Curate in 1825 at Parwich and Alsop en le Dale in Derbyshire. In 1827 he was in Edgeworthstown, County Longford.
He was Archdeacon of Ardfert from 1836 to 1839, then Dean of Achonry from 1839 to 1850; and Dean of Waterford from 1850 until his death.
Edward married (1) Louisa Maria O'Donoghue, eldest daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Daniel O'Donoghue, on 28 February 1832.

Louisa died in 1858.
Edward married Harriet Crump, second daughter of Colonel George Crump of Alexton, in Liecestershire, and widow first of John Wilson Sheppard, Esq., of Campsey Ashe, Suffolk, and secondly widow of the Honourable and Reverend Robert Wilson, Rector of Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, on 23 June 1859.

They had no children
He died on 1 February 1877, in Upper Norwood, Surrey, England, at the age of 74 and was buried at Norwood Cemetery.
