Milan Nicholson was enumerated at Brevard Post Office, Brevard Toiwnship, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the June 27, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as at home and born 1862-1863 in North Carolina as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John Nicholson, female Mary Nicholson, male Merit R Nicholson, female Dovey Nicholson, female Lou Nicholson and male Ferdennan Nicholson.^[1]

Milaus Nicholson was enumerated as son at Davidson, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the June 11, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as works on farm, born 1864 in North Carolina and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Mary Nicholson, daughter Dovie A Nicholson and son Ferdinand Nicholson.^[2]

He was noted as born 1866 in North Carolina and had bben married for seven years. He was a plumber (custom work) and a renter as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Oradie Nicholson, daughter Mable C Nicholson, daughter Olivia I Nicholson, son John M Nicholson and mother Mary Nicholson.^[3]

Milon M. Nicholson is buried at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery in Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.^[4]
