Hurva Gästis burnt to the ground in 1837, and was not rebuilt until 1865, and that was probably the reason John and his family did not have anywhere to live anymore. [9]

Research notes
At two of his childrens' christenings, a Pehr Nilsson has been present. I think it might be the brother of John Nilsson, but their birth dates are the same year, and the same place. The place of birth does not have any birth records for the year 1780.
