Richard was born about 1785 He is the son of Richard Noble and Jane Dorchester. The only source for his baptism found is a secondary source - a transcription of baptism at Wooford St Mary the Virgin, Essex on 1 May 1785. Father is Richard Noble and Mother Jane Noble. [1] The 1851 Census for the family confirms Richard as being born in Woodford Essex in 1785, which supports the baptism above.[2]
Marriage
Richard married Maria Ann Harritz at St. Georges, Hanover Square, London on 18 March 1807.[3]Maria was from Limehouse, Middlesex.[2]
Richard and Maria appear in the 1841 Census in Chipping Ongar, Essex where they were residing in High Street with their family. Richard Noble was a builder.[4]
Maria Jane Noble, born in Chipping Ongar, was christened in Essex on 12 July 1808.[5][2] As an adult she worked as a schoolmistress.
Wiliam Noble, born in Chipping Ongar, Essex in about 1812.[2] He married Charlotte Marshall at St. Sepulchre, London on 25 February 1841.[6]
Catherine Noble, born about 1814 in Chipping Ongar, Essex was also a schoolmistress.[4][2]
Frederic Noble, Christened in Essex on 28 June 1818.[7] As an adult he worked as a Painter and later as a builder. [4][2]
Charles Edwin Noble, born in 1819, worked as a Plasterer.[4], and later as a Builder[2]. He married Caroline Richards in 1856.[8]
Henry Noble, Born 2 June 1820 and christened on 22 August 1820 in Chipping Ongar[9], worked as a Carpenter.[4]
Augustus Noble, christened 16 April 1826 in Essex. [4][10] He was buried in Chipping Ongar on 29 May 1853.[11]
Kate M. Noble, their seven year old granddaughter was with them in 1851.[2]
Death
Richard died in 1853.[12][13]He was buried in a private grave at tower hamlets on 6 May 1848.[14]
