Biography
Albertina Catharina was born in 1857 at Kalberga in Fårö parish. Her parents were Jacob Michael Nordström and Ingrid Maria Olsson.[1][2] Albertina Catharina left Sweden for North America on May 8, 1880.[3] In America, she married Elias Johnson (likely Jonsson) on September 21, 1884, probably in Brooklyn, New York. They had four daughters and a son, all born in Brooklyn.[4]
In 1910, the family was living in Brooklyn Ward 30, New York. They had a boarder, Andrew Anderson, living there as well.[5]
By 1920, Albertina and her husband were living with their daughter, Emily Anderson in Kings County, New York.[6]
In 1940, Albertina was a widow living with her daughter Alice in Brooklyn, New York.[7]
