Funeral services for Mrs. Lela N. (Norris) White, 95, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Burial was in White Cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. White died Friday, April 26 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and member of the Monroe Christian Church.

Born July 3, 1906, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Terry Norris and Rebecca (Garrett) Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar White; three sons, James White, Charles White, and Troy White; a daughter, Mary White; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Clara Jean Reid, Mt. Sidney, VA; five sons, E.B. White, Johnny White, and Tommy White, all of Livingston, Jerry White, Putnam County, and Billy Joe White, Barberton, OH; a sister, Dean Ledbetter, Livingston; a brother, Tommy Norris, Livingston; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Charles Carter, Daniel Kowalski, Greg Reid, Dennis Rawley, Timmy White, and Sameul Cox Jr.
