The U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007, shows that he listed he was born in Marlow, Oklahoma but the Oklahoma Birth Index lists he was actually born in Grady County, Oklahoma. On his WWII draft registration it lists he was born in Marlow, Grady County, Oklahoma but Marlow is actually in Stephens County, Oklahoma. One of his siblings is listed as being born near Marlow, Oklahoma. Grady County, Oklahoma is about a 30 minute drive to Stephens County, Oklahoma so they are really close to one another especially if you live between the two counties.
